Hi Ross and all,

I have heard of people using it or parts of it but the problem is that
the only software using voice output that I know of that it would be
supported by is jaws and my experience with jaws and java is not all
that happy. The current state of jaws in this respect is that support
for java was broken in an earlier release but has been fixed in jaws
4.02. There are other ttools that do work with voice output software
though and do not use java and you can check some of them out at:

Subject: Bobby, Java Virtual machine and voice output

Hi folks,

I believe there was some discussion on this list about the new Bobby
software when it was released for the public to purchase. Do you know
of
anyone who is able to use this software under windows 95, 98 with voice
output? The thing that gets me is this software supposedly evaluates
web
pages for 508 compliance when the software itself does not meet 508
requirements. Please help if you can.
