Charles,

I have a HP 5L on LPT1 and an Epson Stylus 777 inkjet on LPT2 - ecp printer
port.  I don't know if this will help you or not but I had to go into the
bios - Chipset features - Set Onboard Parallel Port.  I changed it from
378H/IRQ7 to 278H/IRQ5.  This sets the Onboard Parallel Port as LPT2 and
then windows recognized my added on parallel port card as LPT1 on IRQ7.
