I believe your case also snaps together - you need to apply inward pressure
at various points around the seam while you pull the pieces gently to allow
the parts to separate.  Sorry, I don't have a diagram with the exact spots.
I was able to open a 420 CDS a few weeks ago this way.  Similar to opening a
tv remote, etc.   I seem to recall a few hidden screws under plugs or covers
near the lcd panel hinge on the keyboard side as well.  Unfortunately, I
don't have the pc to check further.
