I stumbled on the solution. There are no locks or any tricky things. I started to remove the connectors off the led and turbo light pins. That unlocked the keyboard. One of them may have been on the wrong pins. I know it may not make sense, but it boots up ok now. The hard is going to take some configuring. It's a fat32 and that may give a problem. I'm sure I'll be back.
