Al,
I am not sure, but if you have a "button type" battery on the motherboard and
remove it, I believe it would have the same effect as shorting out the CMOS
jumper which may or may not even be there. I have ASUS motherboards, which
have 2 tiny solder spots used for shorting the CMOS and ABIT Boards which
have a regular 2 pin jumper. Try it and see if it works.
