Hello SatPrem,

IMHO there are more differences now between two monitors of same model
than between two competing brands :)

I've a SyncMaster 900NF, it is better than average but convergence is
not perfect (A, not A+). The best thing? Get a monitor testing program
(Nokia Monitor Test is fine), go to the store, unpack the monitor,
plug it into any of their PCs, let it heat up for 20-30 min., and run
all tests and tweak the monitor.

(You can also do that on the monitors they have "on display" -- you
save unpacking & heat-up time, and 2-3 weeks of its working "on
display" are not significant with monitor life of in worst case over 3
years).

If you can bring it to 100% image quality using available controls,
buy it (the monitor you have just painstakingly tuned, not of a same
model). If there are more fancy controls but they are of no use in
tuning the monitor, then why bother?
