I hope this is an acceptable post as it is my first one ever and I really need help. Here's the problem: I have a USB NEC laser printer. It works great on win2k pro. I tried installing a Lexmark z32 USB and all of a sudden whenever I tried to print to my NEC in a Microsoft Office 2000 application my computer would reboot. I spent a whole day on the telephone until my ear was sore and none of the tech supports knew what to do. They all, (as I expected they would) passed the buck onto one another. So... I uninstalled and reinstalled software and hardware in every possible way that I could concieve of until I finally decided to format my c: drive and start over. I went ahead and installed win2k, lexmark on LPT1 and NEC on USB and of course office 2000. All went well, yeah!!!....Until..... A few days later...Somewhere around the time that I installed my lovely USB Panasonic PalmCam, I found that I could no longer print from my NEC USB in Word 2000!?!!? This time though, I could still print from other Office 2000 apps. I also tried reinstalling my NEC printer on LPT1 but it didn't help either.

Also, in system administrator/computer management/Event Viewer/system I found this information that seemed like it had to do with the problem.

Anyone have any ideas or direction? Thanks a lot! elahav
