Have you checked your Version Conflict Manager recently? I did a new
install of Win98 more recently than you, with no old operating system to
save, and I now have 360 files in Version Conflict Manager. If I deleted
back up files, and I am not sure how, I would be deleting a number of
files that are later versions than files I am using. Would that be a good
idea? Would files soon pile up in Version Conflict Manager again, with
some backups being later versions than files I am using? Is it a good
idea to replace files being used with backups, if backups are later
versions? As I previously posted, I do not know a faster way to do this
than to look, replace, and reenable Version Conflict Manager for each
file replaced.
