I really have not tried starting the computer in safe mode so I don't know.
I'll have to try that when it starts to really freeze up frequently like it
did a few nights ago.  Yesterday it only froze a couple of times.

On the advice of one of the PCBuild members, I disabled the Ethernet card
that connects my home network.  He thought that maybe the card was
defective.  So far I haven't had a freeze up since then but I only did that
last night.  Hoping that was the problem.
