For MS Windows *only* -- the point is that Matrox supports almost *all*
operating systems of any currency.  They are the only major maker that still
provides support for OS/2. If you don't need gamer-quality 3D-accelerated
graphics, and if you want to boot multiple OSes, Matrox is about your only
choice.  That you get the best 2D acceleration is pure serendipity.
   Those latest Matrox G200 drivers provide several nice bug-fixes for OS/2.
nVidia has never and will never provide OS/2 drivers -- we asked.
   If you insist on nominating worst driver support, try SiS.  We got three
new machines with SiS video.  They supported only Winxx -- no NT, no Linux,
no OS/2.  We swore no more SiS, replaced them all with Matrox, and all are
still productive three years later.  We've been told their driver support
has improved, but have no incentive to test it.  With 60-odd machines to
support, our department's tech guy has better things to do with his time.
