Try going into your BIOS, and for the CDROM set it to None, rather than
CDROM, or Auto... This might help in your situation. Also try Going into the
control panel, and select the Add new hardware wizard, it is much more
thorough. Another option may be to set the CDRW as the Slave instead of
Master. But first change the Bios Setting to None... It will still be
detected, but maybe just once this way!!! May be worth a try in your case!
