I recently installed Windows98 2nd Edition over itself to try to fix a problem. I fixed that problem but now I've got another one. When I try to run my NU System check everything freezes up and/or I get this message: "Terminating thread due to a stack overflow problem. A VxD, possibly recently installed, has consumed too much stack space. Increase the setting of 'MinSPs' in System.INI or remove recently installed VxD's. There are currently 5 SPs allocated." The first time I got this error message it said I had 10 SPs allocated, now I'm down to 5. What is VxD? What is 'MinSP' in System.INI? I have found some info about the stack overflow problem but not sure if I completely understand it. If anyone has run into this and can help me try to fix this (without having to spend $ for tech support, cos I can't afford it right now), I would really feel blessed.
Thanx in advance.
