I don't know. Some peoples even now eat a fair amount of raw meat. The
Japanese for example eat raw chicken, pork, horse, as well as fish of
course. I always liked steak tartar. Even wild predators like cooked
meat, cooked liver is used to bait traps for coyotes and foxes, I
believe, and it is certainly not their natural food.
Anyone have any hard facts on what the American Indians ate, or other
recent paleo people? How about moderns?
