Thanks for testing out these ideas! :) I noticed the people training didn't carb up before, and most of them had a low carb meal as their pre-workout one. Though especially in powerlifting and body building they spend 24-36 hours after eating a much higher proportion of carbs before returning to their low carb regular diet.. that seems to be the latest fad.
Its interesting to hear your experiences with exercise and low carb
