Cabots manufacturers a acrylic paint with Teflon. It was approved on a
project I GCed in Willimantic CT. Since the paint was donated to the
project I stayed clear, figuring that if there were problems someone else
would be responsible. It allowed me to see what the stuff was and how it
performed.

The painter did not like the paint. But then it was hard to figure out what
the painter did like. It has been on the building for a year and a half.
The only problem area was where a gutter was plugged and water ran down the
siding every time it rained. In this area the paint pealed within 9 months.
It was repainted and again pealed. We suggested that the owner clean the
gutter.

The building's appearance is good. I believe that the Teflon helps to
maintain the surface quality, prevent oxidation. One word of caution, if
you have to match a color do it in the Cabots system. We color matched in
Benjamin Moore. Even though Cabots claims BM formulations are the same our
BM color was grayed in the Cabots system.
