  The few MPEG/video products I've bought for use with NT/2000, which
list these OSes as a choice, have usually (in much smaller print)
said something like "Some features only available on Windows 98."
  I'm hopeful that Windows XP will garner proper attention from these
vendors, but I'm afraid that NT and 2000 will continue to be poorly
supported by consumer-market MPEG gear.
