I was digesting posts good people on this list sent in response to query
I posted under above heading, when it occurred to me I should post more
details before I proceed further.
Norton Utilities 13.00.0.36 gives me error message, "Drive E: may not be
configured correctly. Norton Disk Doctor cannot run on this drive."
Norton technician said to reformat, which I am reluctant to do. Have
three partitions, C: Windows 98 and programs that cannot be installed on
another drive, D: programs, E: data. Planned to reformat C and reinstall
Windows, leaving other partitions undisturbed. However, I wonder if I
should disturb C. Is there a way I can just repartition E to fix problem.
I told Norton technician Scandisk runs on drive E with no problem. He
stated that there still was a problem according to NDD, and I should
reformat.
