I'm going to get a 256mb and would like opinions on whether it's wise to use
it and one of the 64's (320 total) or whether I should just use the single
256 DIMM?
I would just go with the 256 and leave out the 64. My experience has shown
that some programs wont even recognize the odd reading of RAM and just
downsize to the nominal value which would be 256. Not only that you are more
likely to get memory error messages with the odd ball level of RAM. Besides
that on top of it all the added 64 chip won't make any noticeable difference
if added to the 256 chip.
Thanks,
