If it is not lighting up then it isn't getting power.  The circuit or outlet
could be dead, the surge protector, if any, needs to be reset or is dead, or
the scanner is dead.  Plug a light into the outlet to see if that works.  If
it does, than either the power cord or the scanner is toast.



I am having problem with my astra 2000u scanner.  It is not getting power.
The power indicator light is not on even though it is plugged in and i
have tested the power cord.  The computer thus can not find the scanner.
Any advice or those with similar problems?????
