I have reacted to Mary Kay mascara and eye shadow (difficulty swallowing and
breathing-hurt in mid chest like a bronchial infection-my typical gluten
reaction as verified when my inhaler had gluten!) and after the statement
below from Mary Kay, I would like to find a face cleanser, moisturiser,
foundation, eye shadow, and mascara that are GF-Please advise and I will
summarize. After the statement below I wonder if their lipstick is GF!
Dana Kay, Technical Correspondent of Mary Kay, wrote in a letter March 15,
2001 that "because of the vast number of raw materials we receive from
different sources, it is not possible to guarantee that our products are
completely gluten-free." She then listed 29 ingredients that should be
considered not safe for celiacs-and that those ingredients "may change
without prior notice, as we introduce or modify products." If you wish a
list of the ingredients-email me.

Your suggestions to help my search for new cosmetics is appreciated!
