I'd suggest checking out Daisy.org for the specs and associated info for
the standard.

Subject: Re: Daisy converter?
There is no such thing that I am aware of. A daisy book is not just one
file, but a number of files, including audio usually a MP3, and
additional files to provide navigation, structure, and to link with the
audio. A WAV file alone does not have any structure information, so
wouldn't provide enough basis to create a DAISY book.
