I would tend to agree with you on the Web Eyes software.  It sounds like an
non-universal design approach to web accessibility.  I think one of the
quotes was:  "... whether or not the web page follows WAI/W3 accessibility
standards or not ..".  This software really does promote the concept of
adding a plug in and forgetting about your browsers/users needs.
