Hello all,
For those who haven't foudn a good milk substitute and need to worry about
such
things, here is another great frosting recipe (got raves at a party, my cake
didn't, but this did, shoulda tried the one just posted). No heat required.
1/2 c margarine
1/2 c crisco or lard
1tsp flavoring (i've used vanilla, and lemon)
2 c sugar
fluff the margarine, add the crisco. beat 1 minute on medium. Then
spoonful by
spoonful, add the sugar and beat. If it gets too dry, add water to loosen.
It takes about five-10 mins to make
