Hi,
I recommend going to http://www.pcpowercooling.com and using their
calculator. It will tell you what your requirements are.

The fan on my power supply went dead a few days ago. The system would shut
down all of a sudden when the power supply was too hot. I have 3-4 hard
drives, 2 CD/DVD/RWs, 5 PCI cards, 1 AGP card on my system, and I will
upgrade to a Athlon 1.4G (Duron 600mhz currently). I need a new power
supply.

What are the formulas involved and where to find the power requirement on
my devices?
