I have the following hardware setup:

Processor                             Pentium III, 500.0 MHz
Chipset                               Intel 440BX PCI Chipset
Memory                                512MB SDRAM
Main BIOS                             Award  Modular BIOS v4.51PG


The problem is this:  In the BIOS the RAM settings are
correct.  However,  in W98SE Performance Properties the RAM reads as 574 MB.

I have had computers that read LESS memory than actually installed, but
never MORE.

Any ideas? TIA
