Hi,

I've just ordered a 1200. It's supposed to rectify the problems that the
1100 experienced (mainly paper feeding problems) although the 1100 worked
fine for me. So far, I've bought 4 of them for people in my organization.

See the following for more info on the 1200. You should definitely be able
to get it for a lot less than $500.

A small bummer is that it doesn't ship with a cable as did the 1100 and it
takes a different toner cartridge than the 1100 does (they never make
anything easy, do they)

I paid $390 - educational pricing from Microwarehouse.

Dan
