Hi,
I have Windows 98SE and Windows 98 Plus installed on my machine plus a partition and I have
used the Windows start up disk many times to reformat and clean install Windows 98SE etc. on
my C: drive, leaving my D: drive (partition) intact. I've never heard of a special Boot
Disk, nor have I needed one. If you can, or if you know someone who can, make a start disk
(boot disk) from "Add and Remove Programs" in the Control Panel. Then put it in your A:
drive (floppy drive) and reboot. You should then get the options to format C: and then load
your OS and programs. Hope this helps.
