> 1) Why did you choose the paleo plan?
one of the few 'diets' that i've ever seen that i felt i could live on.
> 2) How long have you been on a paleo diet?
5 years
> 3) Which plan do you most closely follow and which book can't you live
> without?
NeanderThin
> 4) What have been your results - health improvements, weight loss, etc.
weight loss, more muscle, more stamina, better skin, better sleep, WAAAAY
fewer migraines, fewer colds.
> 5) Did you have any addictions when you started that were hard to kick;
>if so, how did you do it (cold turkey or slow withdrawal)???
kick? we're supposed to be kicking our addictions? (surreptitiously
stubbing out cigarette)

>they don't work for you?
no.
> 7) Are there any "non-paleo foods" which you seem to be able to handle in
> small quantities while still maintaining your health improvements, etc.?
oh sure. 'small quantities' being the key phrase. i can do chocolate,
dairy only in the form of yogurt or buttermilk or sometimes cheese. no
wheat or corn, though, those make me suffer for it.
> 8) What is a typical paleo day for you? (I'm particularly interested in
> what you all have for breakfast as I don't like eggs)
breakfast is usually leftovers from the previous night's supper, or else
eggs (sorry), but sometimes i mix blueberries with ground nuts, and it's
kind of like a porridge.
> 9) Do you take any vitamins, supplements?
a multi, C 500, Mag 250, evening primrose capsule
> 10) What about exercise?
lift weights 4-5 times/week. walk the dog.
good luck Karen.
