Hi, I just signed onto this list last night. Thought I would comment on this
one. Back in those days, a size 12 was equivalent to today's size 8! That's why
in "The Misfits" when Clark Gable asked Marilyn, "What size are you--a 12?", she
could answer "Uh huh" with no shame. ;-) Today's women are fatter than their
clothes sizes reveal!
