I didn't see the pighabit version (too technically challenging for some of
us), but there were some similar houses (I'm going by the written
description) in LA in my yout'.  Undoubtedly (nearly) all gone now for shitty
stuccoed 3 story apts. with parking spaces on the ground floor level.  Some
of the Greene and Greenes would probably qualify, except for being too high
style.
