Do they make Havaheart traps in Grizzlie size?
Signed,
Was Winnie-the-Pooh really Canadian?
First question: Nah, just shotguns. One night last summer at
Fort Selkirk I was sleeping like a fallen over Corinthian column, when I
heard one of the worker's dogs start screaming. This was followed by two
rifle shots about 6 seconds apart. I rolled over and went back to sleep, but
next morning I found out that a black bear had wandered into camp, and
started "playing" with the 15lb. dog. She just got a scratch on the tummy,
and the bear disappeared, apparently not injured by the two shots at close
range from the dog's owner. Though it wasn't dark out, he was still
half-asleep and his aim must have been faulty, which was just as well. We
never saw that particular bear again.
Second question: That's how our version of the legend goes.
As in "Winnipeg".
