I wince every time I see some nitwit in a nice coop who has cut through a
marble or limestone stringcourse for an air conditioner outlet. But I marvel
when I see it done through terra cotta decoration. I would expect to see
progressive failure of the remaining terra cotta, fractured (I would expect)
from the sawing. But all the installations I see, however ugly, are still
intact.
Why don't I see more tc failure from such installations?
