Ricky;
When you reformated the drive, you apparently lost your modem drivers.
If you have internet access, you can find the drivers at:
http://www.gateway.com/support/choose.shtm
or if you know what modem you have, you can find drivers at
www.windrivers.com

For your cdrom, make sure you didn't knock loose a cable when you removed
the harddrive.
Make sure the ribbon cable is positioned with the red stripe towards the
power plug.
Check the jumpers on the harddrive and cdrom for proper master/slave
settings.
Boot in safe mode and check in device manager and see if the cdrom is
listed.
you may have to reinstall the proper harddrive controller drivers. You can
delete all harddrive controllers in safe mode, reboot and windows should
plug and play the proper controllers.
If that doesn't work you may have and entry in the window registry
preventing the cdrom from being recognized.
If you are comfortable working in the windows 95 registry, backup your
registry first, then do a search for "noide" without the quotes, and delete
any values found.
If none of this helps or makes sense, you may have to take it to a computer
tech who can easily sort these
problems out.
