You need to identify the hardware devices, ... the video card and the
modem. If they don't identify themselves in Device Manager, then pull the
card and look it over. If you don't see a manufacturer and or model number
look directly on the chip.
Once you know what they are, hunt down the correct drivers and install them.
If they are generic, then determine what chip they are using, and install
generic drivers for that chip.
For example a generic S3 driver for a S3 Video card or a generic Rockwell
driver for a modem with a Rockwell chip.
