How about using a demagnetizer on the floppies? I found them on the web for
less than $15 and you can't beat the speed. Just make sure you aren't
around other media when you use it.

I need a minimum-sized (and quick) utility that can run in a batch file to
convert formatted 3.5" floppies to an UNFORMATTED state. I need to "blank
out" diskettes for testing a student's ability to format a floppy.
