I just installed a new Acorp 993A/AP mobo with 128mb ram,25gb HD,cd-rom, celeron 600mhz processor. Mobo uses Via chipsets and, has onboard sound chip(AC-97-CODEC. I've set the bios to enable onboard sound and Windows tries to detect it thru the wizard (called PCI multimedia device) but can't find a driver for it. I don't know the VIA website url. The manual says I don't need to have a seperate sound card if I enable the onboard chip. Where can I find a driver for this chip or does anyone else have any suggestions regarding my problem. Any answers will be much appreciated..Thanks Ed Bogert
