Our computer has had many problems lately with it blacking out, and causing
us to restart the computer, go through a scan disk, when accessing web sites.
It is like the monitor shuts off, and there is no way to get back online
unless you shut down the computer, restart it, and wait for it to go through
a scan disk. Then you go back onto your isp, and within minutes of "surfing"
the web, it does it again. Could this be a hardware problem? Our computer
is an Intell Pentium II, 64 MB RAM, with Windows 98. The computer has been
having this problem for quite awhile now, and then crashed about a month ago,
losing everything, and having to start all over again... We hoped the
problem would not continue, but it did. There doesn't seem to be much
problems with it except with going on the internet to search a web site.
Although sometimes it freezes up, even when not on the internet at all. The
computer is just 3 years old, and we are getting very frustrated at its
performance. Can someone please help?? Any suggestions on what it can be?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
Suzanne Hann
