Thank you for your advice and suggestions.
I won't be able to get hold of that computer till
maybe Thursday and will try things out then.
Will also get her MB manual so that I can give
you a few more details. Meanwhile all I know is
that she has a Pentium II 300mhz CPU, bus speed
of 66mhz and a Fujitsu 10 gig harddisk. She also
had a new CD writer installed just before the
memory upgrade.
Will keep you guys informed.
