If you are talking about the Grand Canyon, Michael, then I have to add that
the dams at both ends supply electricity for much of the southwest, along
with water to grow the crops that feed a great deal of this country.  We
can't live in the past, no matter how much we would like to.  We have to
deal with this huge population we have.  I am not good at arguing points,
and am just mostly a lurker on this list, but I had to put in my two cents
