  No, it's really not.  Believe it or not, Kent, sometimes diet does not
change disorders in the body.  I'll guarantee you I have one of the most
paleo and cleanest diets you'll ever see, and yet I am overweight.

  Kids are a product of their parents.  If the parents spent their early
years nutritionally deprived, their offspring will suffer the consequences.
