Sorry for the last posting it was cut short.
PDOIS knows they cannot remove Yaya alone by the ballot of the
box. They are not also oblivious to the fact that the longer
Yaya Stays, the deeper we find ourselves in the stratus of
misery. Therefore, I dont think it would have compromised their
integrity in any way if they had joined others in London to
foster sanity in our homeland. The situation in the Gambia is
so serious that we should take each and every oppurtinity that
comes our way if it will strengthten our efforts of removing
this beast from our midst.
Lets deal with ideological differences later and concentrate on
the more pressing needs before us. Name calling will not foster
our battle in any way. I dont like the way Halifa wrote about
Hamjatta at all. I grew up on PDOIS' politics but I strongly
disagree with their stance on this matter. Lets please leave our
principles and ego behind while we deal with a common enemy. We
can cross the bridge of ideological differences when we get to
it. Right now we need a collective effort in removing the beast
and PDOIS stance on this matter does not foster that common goal
at all. Their reason for not attending has more to do with
preserving integrity than sound reasoning. That does not augur
well with the common goal.
