EASI Webcasts are back after the holidays: http://easi.cc
Arthur I. Karshmer is the new officer for the national Science Foundation
Program for Persons with Disabilities. Dr. Scadden has left the program in
capable hands, and in this interview, Dr. Karshmer outlines the growth of
the program over the past dozen or so years and points to some future
directions. The webcast will be on EASI's home page for a week:
http://easi.cc and thereafter it will be on the webcast archive pages.

Arthur has recently moved from New Mexico to Florida, and, as program
officer, travels between home and family in Florida to Washington. Not
only is this a sacrifice to leave his family for prolonged times, but in
the winter, it is a sacrifice to struggle with the inhospitable climate in
the nation's capitol.

EASI also recommends that you check out the four online training courses
starting Feb 4: http://easi.cc/workshop.htm
Month-long courses starting online Feb. 4 are:
Barrier-free Information Technology
Beginner's Barrier-free Web Design
Advanced Barrier-free web design
Business Benefits of Accessible Information Technology
