Murali

I'm hoping you made a "start-up" disk for your computer. If you have, then
put it in and re-start the computer. It'll open in safe mode and you can
make the changes... or if push comes to shove, you can at least copy
important files and then use your "rescue" disk. In the event you have not
made a "start-up" disk, then once you get your computer running normally
again, it'd be in your best interest to make one.

Personally, I've heard so many bad things about Windows ME that at this point
in time I have no plans on upgrading. There have been a lot of problems with
Windows ME.. I wish I could remember all the complaints I've read. But as
always, there are always arguments for and against. As I've said, it's a
personal preference.

I'm about to get (this could take a month or so) a new computer at work with
Windows 2000. Again on the personal side, I'm not all that fond of Windows
NT, which is what Win 2000 is; but I was told.. and I'll soon get a chance to
find out if it's true.. is that Win 2000 is a nice blend of Win98 and Win NT.

Good luck Murali, hope this helps.

how I can reactivate my computer without reinstalling with the rescue disks?
( I already did this once and lost all the work I had in my drive!) Thanks
