There was an article in QST sometime last year in the 'HINTS AND KINKS'
 column. The article as I remember it was step by step. Perhaps you could
get someone locally to do the installation for you.

Hi, Everyone,

The data doesn't stay in my Kenwood TS570D and I ordered a new lithium
battery.  Does anyone know if hams can install these batteries or does the
radio have to be shipped to Kenwood?
