Part 2:
-- deficiency of chromium:
anxiety, fatigue, glucose intolerance, adult-onset diabetes
-- deficiency of copper:
anemia, arterial damage, depression, diarrhea, fatigue, fragile bones,
loss of hair, hypothyroidism, weakness
The list goes on and on. See http://www.edmc.net/~jstory/causes.tar.gz
What we need is a larger theory that includes BOTH the toxemia theory AND
the nutrition theory, perhaps a synthesis. There are TWO parts to
metabolism--the nutrition/building-up part and the
breaking-down/waste-removal part.
I refer you to http://www.beyondveg.com/ for examples of what happens when
people live according to the toxemia theory (fast, eat a sanctified diet,
avoid
toxins) and don't get adequate nutrients. I believe that the bios of
failures listed on beyondveg were caused not by toxins but by nutritional
deficiencies.
Also on http://chetday.com/healthgurus.htm are examples of health gurus
whose health failed. Why did their health fail? I think nutrition
deficiencies probably had a hand in some cases.
