What I'd do is reconnect the drive you want to partition to the primary IDE controller and do it from there. Then you can put it back where you want it.

>I have in my other machine a Promise ATA 66 IDE Controller card. I have a 40Gb Drive on the card that I want to partition. I have 2 other drives that are connected to my Primary IDE controller on my motherboard.
>I have partition software (Shareware product called BootIT NG from www.bootitng.com). On the web site it mentions I can only use Bootit NG on the drive on the controller card if "as long as the hard drives are mapped in to the BIOS and the BIOS can be used to access them."

>The controller card creates it's own extended BIOS, but I'm not able to access the drive.
>My question is how do I do this? I have an ASUS P2-99 mobo.
