I have a Windows 98 PC that is connected to a mux, which in turn is connected to the UNIX Server at the operations center, through the COMM 1 and interfaces using Century Tiny Term emulator. We had several power outages one day and now neither Comm Port works. I checked the system devices and it shows the device is working properly. I have tried everything from swaping out the adapter, the cable, the mux. Could the loss of power or power surges caused the Comm Ports to fry? Please help.

Steve
