RAM Problems

Please help

I just bought an SDRAM module of 128MB (PC100) and i am to use it in conjunction with another 64MB SDRAM module (PC100).
I installed the new 128MB RAM and it was detected in DOS.

First I booted into DOS to see if it was working fine... and it was.
But when I had to load windows, it froze on startup, and an error message was brought up:

While initializing device VIAGART:
Windows protection error.

I tried loading it in safe mode as well but i still got a smilar message:

While initializing device VCACHE:
Windows protection error.

Why is this happening?
What could be wrong?

Please I need urgent help.
