Speaking of bacon, I've just tried the most delicious bacon that I have ever
tasted. It's nitrate and sugar free. http://www.organicvalley.com If memory
serves the only ingredients are organic pork, sea salt, honey and spices.
The drippings were clear and very clean tasting, I always reuse bacon
drippings for cooking greens. I don't think that the pork is raised on
pasture but it's organic -free from hormones, antibiotics, etc. I have yet
to find any pasture raised pork. There don't seem to be any farms that
produce it in Maryland.
