Before making assumptions about the camps limitations as far as diet is
concerned, call them up and ask.  The diabetic diet is hardly as limiting
now with the quick acting insulin.  Also, I go to folk dancing camps, and
bring food that I can eat so that might be a possibility too.  Talk to the
camp's cook or director to see what might be possible.  You may be
surprised.
